U9 Evaluations
U9 Evaluation Schedule
All registered U9 players will participate in two Alphabet Skates, one Skills Evaluation and three Game Evaluations.
Players will be divided alphabetically by last name for the Alphabet Skates. These groupings are for scheduling purposes only and will not affect where a player begins formal evaluations.
Skills Evaluation groups will be assigned separately. Following the Skills Evaluation, players will be placed into groups for the first round of Game Evaluations. Evaluation groups may change between rounds based on evaluation results.
Player assignments and any additional instructions will be emailed to families and posted on this page once groupings have been finalized.
Full equipment is required. Evaluation pinnies will be provided. Players must attend only the session to which they have been assigned.
Alphabet Skates
Each player will attend one Alphabet Skate during Round 1 and one Alphabet Skate during Round 2.

Player Skills Evaluations
Skills groups will be randomly assigned and will not be based on Alphabet Skate groupings.
Game 1 Evaluations
Game 1 groups will be established following the completion of all U9 Skills Evaluations.
Game 2 Evaluations
Updated group assignments will be communicated after the completion of all U9 Game 1 Evaluations.
Game 3 Evaluations
Final evaluation group assignments will be communicated after the completion of all Game 2 Evaluations.
Evaluation Group Changes
Alphabet Skate and Skills Evaluation groups are scheduling assignments only. Game Evaluation groups will be created following the Skills Evaluations and may change after each game. Families should confirm their player’s assigned group before every evaluation session.
