What to Expect
Players participate in structured league play, with teams formed through evaluations and tiered to ensure balanced competition across all skill levels.

- Games and practices across Edmonton and surrounding communities
- Practices and games may take place on weekdays or weekends
- Development tailored to each team’s tier and ability level
Evaluations & Team Formation
- Teams formed through September evaluations
- Multiple evaluation skates expected
- Balanced tiering for fair competition
- Goalies evaluated separately where possible
- Players welcome regardless of previous experience

North SEERA forms multiple U13 teams based on registration numbers and evaluation results. Teams are tiered to support balanced competition and appropriate development at every level.
U13 AAA/AA Pathway
U13 AAA/AA is managed at the club level and is not part of North SEERA. Players must register with their designated club based on elite boundaries.

In addition to registration fees, each U13 player is typically required to contribute team seed money at the beginning of the season. This amount is set by each team and is commonly used to support tournaments, exhibition games, team events, and other team-level expenses.
