Required Documents
New families and transferring families may be required to upload documentation to their HCR 3.0 Spordle account before registration can be approved.
Eligibility Requirements
- Reside within the North SEERA boundary
- Meet age requirements for your division
- Be in good standing with Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada
Documents Required
New players must upload required documentation to their HCR 3.0 Spordle account before registration can be approved.
Utility Bill Required
Proof of residency must include the name and address portion of a current utility bill.
Complete Before Registering
Families who require The Shift Forward should complete it before beginning the registration process.
Required Documents for New Families
Alberta Health Care
Upload a copy of the player’s Alberta Health Care information.
Birth Certificate or Passport
Upload a birth certificate or passport to confirm the player’s age.
Proof of Residency
Upload a current utility bill showing the parent name and address portion only.
Returning Players
Returning players may be asked to provide updated proof of residency if required. Families with an expired Respect in Sport certification may also need to complete The Shift Forward before registering.
Transferring Families
Players transferring from another association may be required to complete additional Hockey Alberta or Hockey Edmonton documentation.
- Contact the Operations Manager to confirm eligibility.
- Complete the Hockey Alberta Parent Declaration Form if required.
- Attach the required proof of residency documents.
- Use opsmanager@northseera.ca in the Minor Hockey Association Submission field.
The Shift Forward
The Shift Forward has replaced Respect in Sport for hockey parents in Alberta.
- If your Respect in Sport certification is still valid, it remains accepted until expiry.
- New families, or families with an expired certification, may need to complete The Shift Forward.
- Cost: $12
- Valid for 4 years
- Choose NORTH SEERA EDMONTON as your hockey association.
How to Submit Documents
Documents can be uploaded directly to the player’s HCR 3.0 Spordle account. If you have questions or are unsure what to submit, please contact our Operations Manager.
