U7 Welcome Skate and Player Grouping Schedule
All U7 players will begin the season with an optional Welcome Skate to help them get comfortable on the ice. These are followed by player grouping sessions for Discovery, Junior and Senior players.
These are not formal evaluations. The goal is to help create balanced, fun teams while giving coaches and volunteers an opportunity to see where each player is at.
Players should attend the player grouping sessions scheduled for the division in which they are registered.
Full equipment is required. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled ice time so players have enough time to get dressed.
Optional Welcome Skates
Each player may attend the Welcome Skate scheduled for their registered U7 division.
Round 1 Evaluations
Players should attend the session scheduled for their registered U7 division.
Round 2 Evaluations
This is the second player grouping session for each registered U7 division.
About U7 Player Groupings
These sessions are not formal evaluations or tryouts. They are used to help create balanced, fun teams and give coaches and volunteers an opportunity to observe each player on the ice. Families should ensure their player attends both grouping sessions scheduled for their registered division.
