Game & Conduct Management
Game & Conduct Management
Coaches play a critical role in ensuring a safe, respectful, and fair environment for all players. This section includes key resources for understanding discipline procedures, managing suspensions, and knowing how to address on-ice or bench-related incidents.
Suspension Guidelines
Incident Reporting
Suspensions must be served immediately and in full. Failure to follow proper suspension procedures may result in forfeits or additional discipline.
- Suspensions apply to games, not practices
- Ensure your team’s RAMP account reflects the correct suspension status
- Notify your Category Director and Division Governor when a suspension occurs
If you witness or are involved in an incident requiring further attention, whether on or off the ice, please follow the reporting procedures outlined by Hockey Edmonton or the EFHL.
Contact your Category Director for guidance before taking further action.
