North SEERA is committed to player safety and supports Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada’s approach to injury prevention and concussion awareness. Coaches are expected to follow proper injury reporting procedures and return-to-play guidelines at all times.

Injury Reporting & Management
All coaches should understand concussion symptoms and management protocols. The following resources provide guidance on how to recognize and respond to suspected concussions.
If a player is injured during a practice or game, coaches must document the incident and follow Hockey Alberta return-to-play procedures.
- Report serious injuries to your Category Director and Team Safety Representative
- Players with a suspected concussion cannot return until medically cleared
- Keep parents informed and supported throughout the recovery process
