  • If the player is  trying out for a Club or SEERA Tier 1 U11 or U13 program, we prefer you to NOT register with North SEERA. We do ask you to send an email to the Registrar @ registrar@northseera.ca to declare your intent to return if players does not make the Club or SEERA Team.
  • If you do register and the player makes a Club or SEERA Tier 1 team, fees paid to North SEERA will be reimbursed or transferred to the association.
  • Complete the Respect in Sport Parent Certification course at a cost of $12.60, valid for 4 years, before registering. Choose SEERA NORTH for the Association.
  • Submit an undated volunteer commitment cheque of $250. Check if one is already on file from last year. All players need to provide a volunteer cheque, but most have one on file.
  • Drop off vouchers at 9627 75 St before registering. Once added to the player’s account, you’ll receive an email to register online. Include the player’s name on the envelope or back of the voucher.
  • Purchasing a Community League Membership is no longer mandatory, but North SEERA encourages members to support their local community league by purchasing a membership each year.
  • New members must provide the Registrar with copies of the following documents (preferably via email):
    • Birth Certificate
    • Alberta Health Care Card
    • Supporting Documents for proof of address (most recent utility bill – gas/electric/water).

To start the process, please contact the Registrar at registrar@northseera.ca. You will also need to fill out a Parent Declaration Form, which can be found at Parent Declaration Form.

Payment Options:

  • PREFERRED PAYMENT OPTION: EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) without any service fees. Please send the payment to registrar@northseera.ca and include the player’s name in the memo line.
  • Visa or Mastercard: Select the credit card option during the online checkout process to use our Installment Payment Plan.
  • Personal Cheque: Make it payable to North SEERA Hockey. Select the Cheque option during the online checkout process.
  • Vouchers: If you have vouchers earned through North SEERA, SEERA, or participating Community Leagues, registrations will not be approved until the vouchers are received by the Registrar.
  • Cash or Debit: Debit payments can be made in person using our Square Payment Machine. Select the Cash option during the online checkout process, and then contact the registrar to arrange a time for processing the payment in person.

Spordle Online Registration

North Seera Hockey will use the Hockey Canada Spordle online registration system.

  • FIRST STEP: Every family will need to create themselves a new account with Spordle My Account in the parents name if they do not already have one.
  • Once a new account is created you can then add/link all your related members/participants to the account. Search players and coaches by name and date of birth to locate and select.
  • Once participants have been added to the account you will be able to register for your desired club directly through the Spordle Dashboard.

North Seera Hockey Society

The North SEERA Hockey Society is the operating area known as Area II of the South East Edmonton Recreation Association (SEERA, also known as the “Southeast Zone”).  Formed in 1986, North SEERA operates minor hockey programs for young hockey players aged 4 to 14, from the Initiation level through to Bantam.  NSH combines with our sister operating area, Millwoods Hockey (Area I), to play under the SEERA banner.
